Bank of the Bluegrass & Trust Co., announces a new addition to their Asset Management Team-Jerry M. Johnson, Senior Vice President, Director of Asset Management joined our team in May of this year. He will be responsible for all aspects of investment management and Trust administration for our clients. Jerry is a recognized leader in the Lexington banking community, having over 20 years of experience in the field of Trust administration and investing for high net-worth clients. Before coming to the Bank of the Bluegrass, Jerry served in senior management positions in the Wealth Management Divisions of two super-regional banks where he was responsible for investment and Trust portfolios in excess of $300 Million.

Jerry holds his Under Graduate Degree in Finance and a Masters Degree in Business from Morehead State University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He has continued his professional education throughout his career, and he is a graduate of the American Bankers Association National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. Jerry is a Registered General Securities Representative (Series 7), a Registered Securities Agent and Investment Advisor (Series 66), and he holds his Kentucky Life and Health insurance license. He holds the designation of Accredited Wealth Management Advisor from the College of Financial Planning.

Jerry and his wife Robin (a business education teacher at Lexington's Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School) live in Versailles, Kentucky with their children, Austin, Aaron, and Hayley. Both Jerry and Robin are very involved in their children's school and sports activities, and additionally Jerry serves on the advisory board of directors for the University of Kentucky Museum of Art, and the College of Business at Morehead State University.
