Serving Lexington for more than 50 years, the local bank announces the opening of a new branch.

 

Spring in the Bluegrass means basketball, bourbon, blooming trees—and of course, horses. It’s also a season of new beginnings, making it the perfect time for Bank of the Bluegrass & Trust Co. to open the doors of its newest Lexington location.

The bank is proud to announce the opening of its fourth Lexington branch, located at 3948 Fountainblue Lane, Suite 130 in the growing Palomar Springs development, located at the intersection of Man o’ War Boulevard and Harrodsburg Road. The new location invites customers and neighbors to experience the above-and-beyond personal banking that has earned the bank its reputation as “The Best Bank in Town®.”

For more than 50 years, Bank of the Bluegrass has been deeply rooted in the Lexington community. What began in the bank’s iconic brick headquarters at the corner of Limestone and High Street has grown into one of the most trusted financial institutions in Central Kentucky. The Palomar Springs branch marks an exciting new milestone as the bank continues to grow alongside the community it proudly calls home.

The 2,500-square-foot branch features a modern, warm, and welcoming design that reflects the bank’s commitment to combining personal service with convenience and technology. The location includes three private offices, universal banker workstations, two drive-through lanes, and external ATM access, providing flexible service options for customers.

The branch will be led by Monica Fox-Ramirez, AVP and Financial Center Manager, who brings 28 years of banking experience to the role. She is joined by an experienced team including Lisa T. Smith, Consumer Mortgage Lender (25 years, MLO #1028219) and Hannah Hutchinson, Assistant Branch Manager (12 years).
