Peer-to-Peer Payment Technology (P2P)
A safe and secure way to send money to friends, family and trusted contacts!
Regardless of where they bank, you can send money from your Bank of the Bluegrass checking account to family members, friends and trusted contacts provided they have a Visa or Mastercard debit card.
With this free service, you’ll be able to initiate secure and instant P2P payments directly through your Bank of the Bluegrass mobile and online banking portals. Visit customer service at any of our locations to get started!
Once you’re enabled, “Start a New Transactions” within “Money Movement” in your Online or Mobile App. Add new payees by simply entering their name, phone number or emails address. The new payee will receive a link, asking them to input the 16-digit Visa or Mastercard debit card number they’d like used to receive your payment, or they may provide that number to you directly. Best of all, once a payee is added to your list, their payment information will be remembered and is fully encrypted. It’s quick-simple-secure and reliable!

Digital Wallet
Have us link your Bank of the Bluegrass Debit Card to your digital wallet app, if you prefer paying for purchases that way.
Safe, contactless payment methods include Apple Pay®, Samsung Pay® and Google Pay™, which use an encrypted, one-time transaction code during transactions. Your card number and PIN are never stored with the merchant, giving you added peace of mind.
